what exactly happened the fan-base that i adored so much? the one that was such a family we welcomed in everyone. i’m really sick of going to my friends blogs and seeing them get hate for simply being themselves. if you call yourselves symphony soldiers, you should probably look up the meaning behind us being a united army. we got the cab to where they are today. whether you’re a new fan or an old fan you’re still supposed to be welcomed into this group and respected as a human being. it pains me to see people acting out of spite. blogs battle it out to try and get the most hits on certain things and it’s almost like the whole meaning behind Cab Day is flourishing to the ground. last year we developed this day together, to honor The Cab and i know for certain they wouldn’t be proud of a lot of peoples actions. they’ve stated before we’re like friends and family to them, not fans yet it still makes everyone battle for the attention, for the friendship or the love of these guys. the only battle we should be having is against everyone who doesn’t believe in this band. so please, stop fighting each other, stop leaving immature anon messages, and stop avoiding posting certain media because of who owns it. i’ll personally even open my anon up to let you all rant and rave, even though i’d hope that maybe, just maybe you’d grow up eventually. i guess i can just hope. until next time, please just try and remember this is a UNITED army, not a battle.
and i can honestly say with my whole heart they took place with some of the greatest human beings i’ve ever known. on the two days i spent with the cab and the summer set on their everythings fine/symphony soldier tour. i can’t explain how emotional it was for me to see these two bands sell out the house of blues, and the roxy. two bands i’ve grown up with for the last 5 years. from trials and tribulations to the itunes top charts. i don’t want this tour to be over. i don’t want the sold out shows to be over, because they deserve this feeling forever. so here’s to remembering the everything’s fine/symphony soldier tour as one of the greatest nights of not only my life, but hopefully yours too. for everyone who was apart of that tour, thank you for giving your all every night no matter how sick, hungover, or crappy you were feeling you left it all on those stages and i can’t wait to see what’s next!
